REVEALED: SAY GOODBYE TO THE 'TRENDSETTERS'!

According to one intelligence official document dated 5th June 2013 , "...they are uneducated, immature and therefore don't pose any threat to the national security." That was two months ago! On 18th June 2013, CCK presented its own findings on the so-called "Trendsetters" to the NSIS. After analysis of the CCK's report, the initial report that talked of shallow-minded individuals was disregarded, and the new report adopted for further analysis and investigations. So, who are these individuals? What did the CCK report say? We have these answers and more in the next few paragraphs. [NOTE: We have decided to use their twitter handles only.]

@C_NyakundiH and @xtiandela are the main players, and the targets for that case. According to the initial report by NSIS, @ThisisCHITO is a naive and cold character and hence not a key player in the "group". For starters, Nyakundi came to the limelight last year through blogger Denis Itumbi , in the now infamous #LetNyakundiTweet. This was after he had been suspended from Meru University college. Nyakundi opened his twitter account on November 21, 2012.

Xtiandela used a 'crowd-pull effect' strategy to gain followers. In his strategy, he opened his account on March 22, 2013, bought foreign followers and then 'psychology' worked for him! Psychology? Yes! Crowd-Pull Effect is where a follower follows a user just because he has the numbers! That aside, let's now get back to our topic.

WHY WAS THE CCK'S REPORT ADOPTED?
According to the CCK, the Trendsetters have formed a Cartel, which now runs twitter in Kenya. They do the following, among others; [NOTE: These are excerpts of the report]
1.Cyber Bullying; Nyakundi has been mentioned a record 389 times in this.
2.Incitement; the trendsetters are well-known to incite followers and other users through their Trending Topics.
3. Libel; They have been paid on several occasions by individuals and business competitors to ruin their rivals' images; Larry Madowo, Safaricom and others.
4. Tarnishing Kenya's Diplomatic relations; this is where the trendsetters have initiated topics to attack other nations. The updated report singles out Nigeria and Uganda.
5. Pornography; they have led and encouraged the spread of pornographic materials.
6. ...and many others.

According to our source, a senior official at CCK had proposed to have Twitter Inc. suspend its presence in Kenya from December 31, 2013! This was however rejected by the NSIS who indicated that this is likely to spark protests both locally and internationally. Therefore, the only option is to suspend (indefinitely) the main culprits. On Thursday last week, Denis Itumbi supported the Intelligence Service move when the report was presented in his department at statehouse!

WHAT ABOUT SOMAWARDS?
The main sponsors, OLX just played a puppet of CCK and NSIS! The idea was to downplay the role and influence of  the so-called trendsetters, in the name of encouraging and promoting proper use of social media.

WHO PROVOKED THE CCK TO CARRY OUT INVESTIGATIONS ON THE TRENDSETTERS?
It is simple: their own careless tweets and topics, and formal protests by Larry Madowo, Bitange Ndemo, Bob Collymore, and Robert Alai!

WHEN ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO GO OFFLINE?
If Twitter Inc and the Security Agencies are to comply with the recommendations, it is as soon as tomorrow, but not later than September 30,2013.

ARE THE CCK AND NSIS JUSTIFIED TO DO THIS?
In my own opinion, the trendsetters have ruined twitter in Kenya by engaging and promoting social vices! If I were to be asked, let the CCK ISSUE A CEASE AND DESIST WARNING to these guys and let them stay!

YOUR TWITTER ACCOUNT IS UP FOR SALE BY THE TRENDSETTERS!!!

It is a fact that now than ever, everybody is hungry for followers on Twitter. Currently 100k followers will cost you around Kshs 24,000. In Kenya, this thirst has gone viral unlike in any other country. There are Kenyans who are willing to pay anything just to get followers on twitter. The Trendsetters, specifically @xtiandela , were among the first Kenyans to buy followers. There was a problem though, they bought foreigners, some of whom tweet in Greek. It is for this reason that @xtiandela has blocked what he called "Inactive Followers". Currently he has deleted close to 15k. His true followers are the ones he is following, 37k, otherwise how can you follow back 100% yet you have such a big difference in "Following" and "Followers"?

Upon realizing the loss that he has made [buying followers and then blocking] plus the ready market for followers, @xtiandela , together with Nyakundi and their fellow Trendsetters, have come up with a business plan; TO SELL FOLLOWERS. But where could they get the "STOCK"? They have already brainwashed many, it is then easy! The only way is just in the next Paragraph and they are succeeding already!

viralfollowing.com is the TRAP. [Haiya!!! You have already registered?] Currently there are around 173 users already registered [Forgive me] 173 ready for sale!

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU REGISTER WITH viralfollowing.com?
It is simple! They have your PASSWORD!
Once a Buyer shows up, they easily LOG INTO your account and FOLLOW the BUYER on your behalf! [I bet Nyakundi will be eating a banana while doing this; while @xtiandela will be farting around].

HOW MUCH WILL THEY MAKE?
Note this; they will be selling REAL FOLLOWERS, unlike many crooks that sell FAKE FOLLOWERS. A fake follower currently is slightly below a quarter of a shilling.
According to our sources, they have set the price as Kshs 5 per Follower. Remember this one follower can be sold to as many buyers as possible!
Suppose they sell their current "Stock" to 100 people; 173*5*100= Kshs 86.500

WHAT CAN YOU DO IF ALREADY REGISTERED?
Change your Password before they change it!!! They are CONMEN!!!
